PlayGym Centre, Valencia: A New Era in Functional Training

The Starting Point of PlayGym Centre

Founded in April 2017, PlayGym set out with a bold new concept in functional training. The aim was to offer small group classes that cater to all types of users, ensuring that each participant gets the attention and guidance they need. With its specialised classes and innovative approach, PlayGym continues to attract a wide range of fitness enthusiasts.

PlayGym’s Core Activities

At PlayGym, three main activities dominate the fitness landscape:

• Boxing and Kickboxing: Non-contact techniques and exercises designed to develop skills, fitness, and stamina.

• Cross-Training: A mix of strength and endurance exercises aimed at significantly improving overall fitness levels.

• Body Awareness Training: Exercises that focus on meditation, relaxation, joint movement, and stretching to increase flexibility and mindfulness.

Although group sessions are the norm, individual assessments are carried out to ensure each member receives personalised attention and support.

Aerobic and Fitness: Shaping PlayGym’s Success

Aerobic and Fitness played a crucial role in the design and layout of the PlayGym boutique centre. The structures and equipment provided by Aerobic and Fitness were key in creating the dynamic space that PlayGym is known for today.

The key elements introduced by Aerobic and Fitness include:

• FCS Island Structure with Suspension Elements: A versatile structure perfect for small-group cross-training sessions.

• Customised FCS Structure with Banana Bags: Designed for the centre's specialised boxing classes, allowing for a safe and fun boxing experience.
